Rotorua UkeBox Open Mic and Strum/singalong

Rotorua UkeBox: Ukulele Open Mic and Strum Along – in our regular haunt – Te Rūnanga Tea House, Government Gardens, Rotorua.

Join Rotorua ukulele band The Thermaleles, on the third Sunday of the month for a ukulele open mic and strum along. Pluckers and non-pluckers all welcome. Some months we follow a theme and every May we celebrate New Zealand original music.

There’s nothing like a sing-along to raise your spirits! Come and strum or sing along with The Thermaleles and the lovely folks who come to UkeBox. Chord charts of any song that takes their fancy will be projected on a screen for everyone to join in and after every five or so songs there will be an opportunity for open mic. Dust off your uke, warm up your tonsils and get down to the old tea house in the Government Gardens.

Requests for material to be covered or song sheets to be used during UkeBox, can be emailed to [email protected] or posted to the Rotorua UkeBox Facebook page.
