Textiles are one of the fastest-growing contributors to landfill — but here in Rotorua, young artists are turning the tide. In conjunction with And Again: Textiles Exhibition (6 March – 4 April 2026), this showcase features bags by emerging creatives, reimagining discarded materials into stories of resilience and renewal. Through Sewing for Success, sewing becomes more than a craft — it’s a pathway to creativity, confidence, and sustainability. A call to rethink what we throw away — and reimagine what’s possible.
