Under The Stars 2026 Ākonga Group Show

Celebrate Matariki through art. Under the Stars 2026 is an annual exhibition honouring Aotearoa’s national holiday, inviting Rotorua-based artists—amateur and professional—to share works inspired by or reflecting on Matariki.

Running throughout July and August, the exhibition will span all galleries at The Arts Village, with a special seasonal celebration on Thursday, 9 July.

Featured alongside the exhibition, in the Cottage will present Mokoia Intermediate School alongside works by Toni-Marie Jennings, with Ngā Hue o Matariki, in The Wallis.
