When asked why he chooses to live in Rotorua, Scott Graham says, “To be honest, the Rotorua life chose me! I was born and bred here in the beautiful geothermal tourism capital of the world.

“My favourite thing about the city is the redwoods. I love to go there every chance I get to hit the mountian bike trails or just take a nice peaceful walk on one of the many trails. When I was a child I did love the annual school class trips to the Rotorua Museum and learning all about the city and its past.”

About working for ZORB, he says, “I had friends that had previously worked for ZORB and I had heard what a great place it was. I was lucky enough to be given this chance back in 2019 and never looked back, it is a really cool company with a fantastic history. It is forever changing and looking at different ways to be more sustainable. I love the fact that you are treated like family and always taken care of while also looking after our local community. I couldn’t see myself anywhere else. The staff ZORB rides are always a bonus too!”

Scott’s favourite aspect of working in the tourism industry is “the new people you meet every day from all over the world and listening and finding out about all their experiences culture and where they are from is awesome. One of my favourite things as well is the fact that here we are basically selling people happiness and an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.”
